47Marijuana was once known as the perfect recreational drug and one that was less serious than cocaine, heroin and other recreational drugs. It comes with several different names; cannabis, marijuana, spliff, weed, ganja, Mary Jane weed, grass, dope, herb, pot and joint. The herb has various uses and can treat many symptoms. For this reason, the use of marijuana was made legal in the United States, in a bid to market it as a medicinal drug. Over the years, it has gone from people being arrested for using, to the herb being made available to individuals. Distinguishing between a person’s need for the herb can be somewhat tricky, as even when it is being sought for recreational purposes, it is still be said that it is for medicinal purposes.
Marijuana has evolved over the years to become a more acceptable herb for use in brownies, cookies, cakes and several different drinks. People have become so creative at getting their product sold, that they have completely ignore the fact that using marijuana has a variety of side effects for the individual. Many would prefer to experience the side effects, even if it did not cure the illness, while others would rather not have the after usage effects, but have it treat, or cure their illness. New studies have shown that it is also effective for the treatment of Psychlogical Disorders. The study is geared towards the effect that stress has on the salivary cortisol level in non-cannabis users and users alike.
